Turning my list into buyers
This experiment will run for one year, starting on February 17, 2025. The goal? To see how many of my leads I can convert into paying customers within that time.
Right now, my email list has 6,983 subscribers, but not all of them are buyers, and not everyone opens my emails. I regularly clean my list to remove inactive subscribers, ensuring that non-openers don’t count toward my ESP billing.
To make this a true challenge, I’m starting from scratch - only purchases made from February 17, 2025, onward will count. Otherwise, where’s the fun in it?
The Strategy
This experiment isn’t just about making as much money as possible. Instead, my focus is on maximizing conversions - turning as many subscribers as possible into buyers by offering products at different price points.
Ideally, by February 2026, I’d love for my entire list of 6,983 people to have made a purchase. Is that possible? I don’t know - but I’m excited to find out.
A big part of this strategy involves bundling products effectively. Rather than using excessive bonuses to attract signups, I’ll focus on smart upsells - creating offers that increase revenue over time rather than relying on one-off promotions. Because I’m in this for the long run - slow and steady.
A Special Twist
To make things more exciting, I’m adding an incentive: 5 participants will each win $100.
